August and everything after..

As far as I know we didn't actually pick a date for our next meeting. But the book is Henderson The Rain King, by Saul Bellow.

that which is known & all that remains

THAT WHICH IS KNOWN:

  • Our next meeting is April 14th.
  • Probably at about 7pm. ( just a guess, but an educated one.)
  • We shall discuss, in a masterly and scholarly manner befitting the very protagonist of our book and his classmates, Old School by Tobias Wolff .
  • We shall eat typical boarding school fare. (I fear I'm the only one here who actually went to boarding school, so in case anyone was truly racking their brains on this one, I'll say that what I recall is incredible variety. vast quantities of many various things. also lots of blueberry pie. and milk. and soup but I think I may be the only one who ate that. and mashed potatoes with gravy. and chicken picatta. and more blueberry pie. godDAMN was that some good pie. and really lots of mashed potatoes + gravy. and greasy chicken. ok I'm sorry- I'm really hungry - I'll stop.

ALL THAT REMAINS:

  • where will we meet?
  • who is presenting?

Dearest Acronym,

Friendster's blog system proved to be pretty lame so we've moved to a spot that I think will be more useful. The beauty of blogspot is that we can have multiple authors so this is more of a message board (i.e., no more millions of trillions of emails) for all.

Welcome to your blog! Post at will (and administer at will as well)
!
